“WandaVision” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” Finally Get Release Dates

Originally scheduled for a release date much farther away, Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed during the Disney earnings call that “WandaVision” and “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” will be coming much sooner than expected.

Iger stated that while the second season of “The Mandalorian” will be starting on October 2nd, the two Marvel Cinematic Universe spin-off shows will be released sometime in December. This leaves Disney+ still lacking in the new content area, forcing us to go nearly a year without any highly anticipated projects such as shows or films.

Iger stated that this method was deliberate, “The decision to go with quality and not just quantity is working.

This looks somewhat bad compared to other streaming services, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, which both produce original and new content, whereas Disney+ only has “The Mandalorian”.
