TV Rots Your Brains: Tuesday Viewing Schedule and More

Much like the work week can slowly dampen your spirits, our TV line up rots your brains slowly.  We don’t have much to review for you on Tuesday so we are going to mix it up by adding another show to the Monday line up.  We are also sharing our Wednesday line up with you early.  One of our Wednesday reviews starts tomorrow night!  We hope you can join us in checking it out.

Now let’s begin.

On Monday in addition to Terra Nova we will be watching and reviewing Warehouse 13.

Warehouse 13:  Season 3

We are jumping into reviewing this show right in the middle of the season, but that makes it no less enjoyable.  They must be doing something right because the show is already slated for a 4th season run starting in August 2012.  Warehouse 13 revolves around a group of employees who work in a secret government warehouse (Warehouse 13) that houses supernatural artifacts.  Their job is to track down missing artifacts and check out reports of new ones.   This show is currently lined up in between Eureka and Alphas and there have been crossover episodes with both shows.  Given that Monday line-up we can only imagine what kind of cases they’re going to encounter next week.

Be sure to tune in with us and check out the preview below
for the next episode of Warehouse 13 airing on September 12th at 9:00
PM Eastern / 8:00 PM Central on SyFy Channel.

Tuesday may be a slow night for us but we hope the return of a familiar face is just what we need to wrap up the quietest day of the week.

Ringer : Series Premiere

Granted Ringer is not a genre related show, but when we heard that Sarah Michelle Gellar is coming back to the small screen every week,
how can we not check it out.  A lot of the crew here at Shallow Graves holds a special place for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the show that introduced  a generation to the world of vamps, monsters, and things that go bump in the night all with a sarcastic remark and kick-ass female heroine.

Ringer, however tells a different tale.  Gellar steps into the role of identical twins.  One twin has done very well for herself (Siobhan) and the other (Bridget) has struggled with drug abuse.  Their lives are thrown together as things start unraveling for both of them.  In the midst of all this Siobhan disappears and is presumed dead by her twin.   Bridget then steps into Siobhan’s life.  She gets more than she bargained for pretending to be Siobhan and wonders if her sister is really dead.  Join us as we check out this twisted tale of dysfunctional sisters in a show we can only hope becomes a guilty soapy pleasure or a dark drama just moody enough to make Tuesdays good.

Check out a preview of the show below.  Ringer premieres on September 13th  at 9:00 PM Eastern / 8:00 PM Central on The CW.

Wednesday night by far will be the creepiest night of the week and that’s exactly what we will need to get us through the midweek slump.

And it all starts tomorrow night!

Paranormal Witness : Series Premiere

This show claims to be a drama documentary that will be bringing true supernatural accounts to us every week with first had account, some real footage and photos, and some very intense reenactments that will definitely chill you to the bone.  We aren’t sure whether to be scared or laugh.  We might just be doing both.  The show reminds us of one that aired a handful of years back called “A Haunting”.  We aren’t discrediting the accounts being shared, but as we have seen
with that show sometimes the reenactments are just too amusing to be scary. We are hoping for a different outcome with Paranormal Witness.

Check out the preview of the first episode below which will air September 7th at 10:00 PM Eastern / 9:00 PM Central on SyFy Channel.

And be sure to look for our review of the first episode on Thursday.

American Horror Story : Premiere

This show caught our attention with the strange commercials they have been airing on TV.  The premise seems to be that the show is about a troubled family that moves into a house that has a troubled (haunted) past of its own. We’ve seen some familiar names attached to it like Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Frances Conroy, and Jessica Lange.  We have also heard that Zachary Quinto will be making an appearance in late October.

There are many strange previews to choose from and we encourage you to check them all out, but for now we will leave you with just one below.  American Horror Story premieres on October 5th at 10:00PM Eastern / 9:00PM Central on FX.

Don’t watch TV alone on Wednesday night!

And as always be sure to sign-up/log-in to tell us what shows you will be watching!
