The “Game of Thrones” Prequel Has Begun Filming, And People Are Asking… Do They Really Care Anymore???

The new “Game of Thrones” prequel has just started filming their pilot episode and many fans are wondering if they should even care about the show. After the controversial 8th and last season of the HBO hit series, many people feel burned out, wishing to put the series behind them and be done with it, thinking it ran its race and should just end their. Although the series has an interesting spin that HBO and the show’s producers think might lure the fans back.

Set thousands of years before the events of “Game of Thrones”, this prequel will show the golden age of Westeros and its heroes transition into the dark gritty world that we have come to know and love.

The show is being filmed in familiar sites within Northern Ireland. These locations may bring back memories as they were also the sites where two of the most famous scenes from the previous show were filmed, the Battle of the Bastards and the Red Wedding.

HBO is still keeping the details of the show under wraps, much like its predecssor, trying not to reveal much about the inner toiling and plot points that will drive the story and show forward. So at this moment not much is known by any outlet, and it can be safe to say that HBO doesn’t even know much about this show yet, seeming how they had only just started filming the pilot episode the other day.

So what do you think? Is this idea of a time long before the one we know, an interesting plot point? Is it good enough to bring fans from the last series back for this one, even with the amazing new catalog of shows that HBO is about to drop?
