“Terminator: Dark Fate” Takes Control Of The Box Office On Its Opening Weekend

Who expected a Terminator film post T2 to be on the top of the box office? I certainly didn’t, yet it shockingly overcame that challenge and has earned a rather nice amount of money on its opening night alone.

“Terminator: Dark Fate” made it to the top of the box office on its opening night earning around $10.6 million. The film is a direct sequel to “Terminator” and “T2: Judgement Day” and is expected to earned just over $27 million in its opening weekend alone.

James Cameron joined the film and in doing so has retconned everything besides the first two films, making everything other than those two films not matter entirely.

“Terminator: Dark Fate” is directed by Tim Miller and features
Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta. The film also brings back Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role as the T-800.
