The Vampire Diaries will finally be kicking off its final season this evening in The CW (8/7c), and although Elena (Nina Dobrev) may still be playing the part of Sleeping Beauty as we begin Season 8, executive producer Julie Plec promises that Dobrev‘s character “has a very strong presence this season, in the entire season, similarly to how she did last year.”
There has been so many rumors and conflicting information regarding Nina Dobrev’s return to The Vampire Diaries.Will she be back full time for season 8? Will she be playing Elena…Katherine…or both?
