A new Batman: Arkham game may be on the horizon if rumors are to be trusted. With four installments under its belt, it would be no shock to hear that there may be a new game, but what is quite interesting is the story direction it will take and the potential of different playable characters. But who else could you play as?
Many actors have played roles for the two biggest comic book publishers in the world, often going from DC to Marvel. Examples of this can be Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin, yet Dave Bautista wants to go the other way. Dave Bautista wants to be a Batman villain, although it might not be the one you’re thinking.
At Wizard World Chicago 2019, we had the pleasure to interview none other than the iconic voice of the Dark Knight himself… Kevin Conroy. We discuss his involvement with CW‘s major Arrowverse crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths” and how it feels to finally play the character on screen after nearly 30 years of being the voice behind the cape and cowl.
Bane is back on top baby! Yet, he has to break our hearts to get there. It seems as though everyone talks about comic book movies or television shows, forgetting about the original set pieces for these stories, the comics themselves. And I can assure you that Batman is having the worst time of his life in these comics, worse than anything a movie or TV show could put him through.
Of course Kevin Conroy has been confirmed to be in the CW Arrowverse’s major crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths“, but he would like to make it clear that he is not playing Batman. Kevin Conroy will only be playing an older version of Bruce Wayne, similar to what we’ve seen him voice in the animated series set in the future, “Batman Beyond“. Yet, why is he not playing Batman?
For nearly 30 years, Kevin Conroy has been the voice of one of the most famous comic book and pop culture characters in history, and now he is finally getting to play him on the small screen. As an older Bruce Wayne, Kevin Conroy will star in the CW’s Arrowverse crossover event “Crisis on Infinite Earths“, and there is only one man that Conroy wants to play his arch-nemesis… Mark Hamill.

Before there was Robert Pattinson and after there was Batfleck, there was one man fighting for the role of the masked vigilante that fights crimes in Gothams dark alleys. It has come out that the kind hearted father in the television show “This Is Us” was once up to play Batman, yet Warner Bros. shut that idea down.
We’ve got our Bruce Wayne for Matt Reeves‘ new Batman film, yet we don’t have one of the most integral member of Wayne’s family… the butler. Alfred Pennyworth is more important to Bruce Wayne than anyone else, yet who will play the British father figure for our new hero. Well, it may be none other than James Bond of course.
Set to start pre-production later this summer, Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” will be the third iteration of Batman with a ten year span. Yet, this iteration of the big bad bat will be a new and interesting take on the character.
Who knows what is going on with Matt Reeves’ Batman film. It seems as though Warner Bros. and DC Comics don’t know which characters they want in their new Batman film. First we get reports of 4 villains, and now we get reports of 6 villains. Is that overkill for people to go up against Gotham’s Dark Knight?
