Superman is the most iconic superhero of all time. Considered boring and overpowered by casual fans and Marvel acolytes, “Superman: Red Son” shows off the flexibility of the character and the amazing stories that can come from it. The dark story is now getting an animated film, much like many of DC‘s popular stories lately.
This animated film will feature Jason Isaacs (Star Trek: Discovery) as Superman, Diedrich Bader (American Housewife) as Lex Luthor, Amy Acker (Angel) as Lois Lane, Phil Lamarr (Justice League Animated Series) as Jon Stewart, and Roger Graig Smith (Sonic Boom) as Batman. The film, as you can see, features a star studded cast of voice actors and screen actors alike. The animated film will also feature characters from history such as John F. Kennedy voiced by Travis Willingham (Critical Role), and William Salyers (Regular Show) will voice Joseph Stalin.
“Superman: Red Son” is packed full of amazing talent all wrapped up in a fantastic story that is regarded as on of Superman’s best. Although not much has been released about the animated film, we do have the cast and what the story will be obviously based on. Considering that DC basically runs the animated superhero film market compared to their rivals at Marvel, this animated movie is set up to be an amazing ride. So tell us, are you excited for this new animated film? And what DC story do you think should be animated next?
