With the truth finally being revealed in last week’s episode “Star Crossed”, that Mon-El (Chris Wood) is not the body guard as he previously stated, but in actuality is the prince of Daxam and and that his escape was more cowardly than noble.

A revelation that threatened to ruin Mon-El’s relationship with Kara (Melissa Benoist) forever, only to forgive him during The Flash/Supergirl Musical Crossover. In my opinion he did prove his love for her and isn’t that worth a second chance!

So what’s in store for the star-crossed lovers? “Isn’t that how things work that just when you get things settled, some wrench has to fall into the gears?” Melissa Benoist told EW. “The Daxamites pose some problems. Rhea is not necessarily a sweet prospect for a mother-in-law, but it’s really fun to see the way these characters interact.”

In this weeks episode “Distant Sun”, A large bounty is put out on Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and aliens from far and near attack National City intent on taking out the woman of steel.  Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie (Floriana Lima) run into Maggie’s ex-girlfriend, Emily (guest star Hayley Sales), who is in town for a week.  Hank (David Harewood) gets an interesting order from President Marsdin (guest star Lynda Carter).
