Sam Raimi Still Wishes He Could Make His 4th Spider-Man Film

Sam Raimi‘s “Spider-Man” films are classics, everyone who grew up with those films love the new Spider-Man because of them and anyone who has seen them just knows there is something special about them. Yet, the sad thing about these films is that we never ended up getting a fourth film, and Sam Raimi feels this the most.

Every year when a new Spider-Man film comes out, Sam Raimi just can’t help but think of the film that might have been. Raimi has even spoken publicly on his Spider-Man film franchise for a long time now. Being the films that ushered in the era of modern superhero films, along with the X-Men films, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films are something special and are much different from superhero films of today.

The film was supposed to feature the villain The Vulture along with Mysterio played by Bruce Campbell, two villains that have been used for the new MCU Spider-Man films. And with these ideas and a love for those films, fans feel as though they deserve a fourth and final film to the franchise that started it all.

I to believe they should finish out the series, and even though it may confuse Spider-Man fans, because some people can’t understand the idea of multiple of the same character, it would be a great send of for the hero that most children grow up loving.

I think that Sony should allow Sam Raimi to make a final Spider-Man film. Give it a sort of send off similar to “Logan“. It doesn’t have to be post-apocalyptic, but I think that Tobey Maguire‘s Spider-Man should go out in a blaze of fury, truly showing how he will put his life on the line to save the city that he loves and has sworn to protect. Because with great power comes great responsibility.
