Nobodies Even Talked To Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum About CW Crossover Event

There has been many rumors regarding the “Crisis of Infinite Earths” event within CW‘s Arrowverse, and there has been many teasers regarding the major crossover event. One of the largest rumors and teasers relates to Tom Welling potentially joining the ever growing cast of superhero veterans. Yet, according to Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, neither of them have been contacted about anything.

Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum are good friends and were co-stars on the television show “Smallville“. If you aren’t familiar with the show “Smallville” the synopsis is pretty simple. It follows the journey and adventures of Clark Kent before he becomes Superman.

During an appearance at FAN EXPO, Tom Welling was asked about his inclusion within “Crisis on Infinite Earths” to which he responded:

Whatever this Crisis thing you guys are talking about, it’s not happening. Sorry to disappoint you guys. Michael’s doing it, but I’m not.

So this started pointing fingers at Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor, that he was in this crossover event, yet he says something else entirely.

Hang on, hang on, hang on. No, he’s messing around. First of all, the question about the Infinite Crisis thing, no one has even talked to us. So online when I go, ‘I don’t know what the hell they’re talking about,’ I don’t know what the hell they’re talking about! So we don’t know anything about this stuff.

So neither of them have been contacted about reprising their roles for within a new era of superhero shows, that is much different from the one they came up in. Sadly, according to this new neither have been contacted and the rumors have been debunked, but that does not mean the CW won’t contact them after this.

What are your thoughts on Welling and Rosenbaum not being included in this major crossover event? Do you think that they’re lying or do you think it is true? Let us know down below.
