CW’s Arrowverse crossover seems to be getting a larger and larger cast with each passing day. Aspiring to be the “Avengers: Endgame” of television, the crossover known as “Crisis on Infinite Earths“, based off the comic book crossover event of the same name, keeps adding more and more heroes and stars to their roster.
First we got the news of an old Superman returning alongside the new Superman, and now we have Black Lightning joining the Arrowverse finally. Among others, there is suspicion that Tom Welling may be returning as his version of the boy in blue, yet this will most likely not be the case.
One huge character added to the mix is one that everyone has been waiting to see in the Arrowverse for as long as it has been on television… The Batman. Yes, the big bad bat will finally be gracing our television sets and will be played by the greatest man to play the dark knight ever. Someone who has played the caped crusader for nearly 30 years now… Kevin Conroy himself.
Kevin Conroy has never actually played Batman in a live action show before, only being the legendary voice of the character. Since 1992 Kevin Conroy has been peoples most definitive version of Batman, and will be amazing to see him take on this older version of the character alongside Brandon Routh’s “Kingdom Come” Superman.
This crossover event is going to be spanned over 5 different shows. Starting with “Supergirl” and ending with “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow“. The lineup will be as such:
- Supergirl: Sunday, December 8, 2019
- Batwoman: Monday, December 9, 2019
- The Flash: Tuesday, December 10, 2019
- Arrow: Tuesday, January 14, 2020
- DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Tuesday, January 14, 2020
