Netflix’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” Will Start Production In Early 2020

Argued to be one of the greatest animated shows of all time that managed to transcend that of a children’s cartoon, Nickelodeon‘s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” has been a show to remember ever since its first episode. And now it will be getting a live action adaptation that will honor the source material and hopefully become one of Netflix‘s new hit shows.

People are weary about the future of this new show, which is reasonable considering the last live action adaptation we got was absolutely horrendous, but we won’t know until the show debuts and considering that the show will be starting production in early 2020, we will know sooner than we thought.

We got this information from the Word Crafts Chitchat Podcast which hosted their guest, Jessie Flower (who voiced Toph in the original series). She spoke about her time and experience with the show and just before leaving she dropped a little teaser for excited fans of the franchise. She stated that the show will be starting its production in early 2020 somewhere around February.

Personally I can’t wait to see what this new show has in store for viewers, and if it will be able to even hold up against the original series or even its sequel series “The Legend of Korra“. But let us know what you think down below or on our social media pages.
