Marvel’s Greatest Villain May Be Closer To The MCU Than We Thought

Now that Thanos is gone and we are moving into the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney and Marvel are in the need for a new big baddie. Enter one of the greatest written and deadliest villains to enter the comic book medium… Victor Von Doom. If rumors are to be believed Doom is getting a lot closer to being introduced than we had originally thought.

For months now, people have been wondering when Doom would arrive in the MCU and if he is going to be the next big baddie, yet no answer has been given as of yet. Although, according to rumors and suspicions Doom may be getting involved in the MCU first by way of the Disney+ show “WandaVision“.

In a tweet actress Sheila Knox, who will be in “WandaVision”, said the words “Doomstadt! In Helen” meaning that the capital of Latveria will most likely be filmed in Helen, Georgia. For those who are not familiar with the comics or Dr. Doom himself, Doomstadt is the birthplace of one Victor Von Doom and the capital of the country he rules called Latveria.

Doom is able to appear in the MCU now that Disney has ownership over Fox, yet it is unconfirmed whether they will use him or not. Rumors are still circulating that he will be the next villain in the next installment of Black Panther, seeming as Wakanda and Latveria don’t often get along, but that still remains to be seen.

No one knows what this next phase in the MCU will entail, other than the people behind the scenes. Yet, if you are hoping to see Dr. Doom soon, let us know by leaving a comment down below or reaching out to us via social media.
