Marvel Studios director, Scott Derrickson, known for the Marvel film “Doctor Strange” and its upcoming sequel, “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness“, has responded to the ongoing Martin Scorsese versus Marvel debate. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I will explain.

Legendary director Martin Scorsese made a statement calling Marvel films not cinema. This led to an uproar on the internet and led some fans to even reevaluate if these movies could be counted as cinema or just flicks.

There has been some back in forth on the matter, between some more legendary directors and even the likes of Marvel actors, producers, and directors. Now, Scott Derrickson is throwing his hat into the ring, but in a rather enjoyable and funny way.

The only comment he wrote on this picture was… “I love…”

Fans are really getting a kick out of this.

Some are responding to it discussing how both Scorsese and Marvel have had great films, and others are loaded and ready with their pitchforks and torches to take on Marvel, while others are ready to take out Scorsese.

Nevertheless, this was a harmless joke and was rather funny. But let us know, are you pro-Marvel or pro-Scorsese in this matter?
