Latest News: ‘Back to the Future Star’, Christopher Lloyd to Headline at Rhode Island Comic Con

Back to the Future is one of pop culture’s most classic film trilogies, and organizers are excited and honored to announce legendary actor Christopher Lloyd as their next headlining guest for the 6th annual Rhode Island Comic Con, coming to Providence on November 10th through the 12th.

Mr. Lloyd is known for his role as Dr. Emmett Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy, as well as the voice of the character in many subsequent video games. Mr. Lloyd also is known for his role as Reverend Jim Ignatowski in early 80’s hit television show Taxi.
Mr. Lloyd has appeared in many movies including Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Dennis the Menace, My Favorite Martian, Convergence, and many others.
Mr. Lloyd lent his voice to the character of Rasputin in Anastasia and Dr. Emmett Brown on Robot Chicken. Most recently, Mr. Lloyd was the voice of The Hacker in the television series Cyberchase.
Rhode Island Comic Con is held at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin Donuts Center Arena. Tickets are currently on sale through the Rhode Island Comic Con website at, and the Dunkin Donuts Center Arena box office.
