Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey Wished Cersei Had A Better Death

Now that the hit HBO show “Game of Thrones
has ended, we finally get to see what the actors think about all the events that went on through the years. And, it seems the fans are not the only ones who thought some of the deaths in the final season were a bit lackluster. Some of the stars of the show also felt as though their characters deserved better ways to go.

The first of the actors, who had survived to the final season, that believed their characters went out in a boring way was Conleth Hill (who played Varys). But now, one of the biggest characters to even grace the show, Cersei Lannister, believes that her character deserved a better death To the point where she even spoke about how she believes her character should go.

Lena Headey, the woman behind Cersei Lannister, spoke with The Guardian and said this:

“I wanted a better death. Obviously you dream of your death,” she added. “You could go in any way on that show. So I was kind of gutted. But I just think they couldn’t have pleased everyone. No matter what they did, I think there was going to be some big comedown from the climb.”

It seems she spoke to Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) about their death, and the more they spoke the more it seemed right. Commenting on the fact that it was possibly “the first time Cersei knew peace”. But was it good enough? How do you think Cersei should’ve gone out?
