Chadwick Boseman Wants Nothing To Do With Disney+ Shows

Disney+ is the new hot topic when it comes to streaming services. Set to have a myriad of original shows that you can tune into weekly, Disney+ is the replacement to cable. From Star Wars to Marvel shows, Disney has a load of shows lined up to debut and explore the worlds that so many fans have fallen in love. Yet, one star wants nothing to do with these shows…

When asked about which Avengers co-star he would love to do a team up adventure for on Disney+, Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) responded with this:

I wouldn’t, because I don’t want to do a TV show.”

The star who played Black Panther in the movie of the same name, then went on to discuss other projects and things he is excited about doing, and even stated that “none of those are franchises.”

Although he does not want to reprise his role as the King of Wakanda on the small screen, Boseman had noted his interest in exploring the setting of which his film was based and doing “Black Panther 2“. He established the idea that he is only interested in this film as long as it honors what the first film had done.

As of right now, “Black Panther 2” was announced in July at SDCC (San Diego Comic Con) and is set for a release on May 6, 2022.
