Jason Horton Releases the Ultimate Director's Cut of Monsters in the Woods

Los Angeles, California: Director Jason Horton is set to re-release his indie feature Monsters in the Woods. Originally released in 2012, the film is slated for a showing on Amazon Instant in a Director’s Cut version. The new title is A Director’s Cut: Monsters in the Woods and this latest version has more never-before-seen footage! As well, the film has been re-edited, to show Horton’s truest vision of the film. It will be available in the first week of October.

When The Flash premiered on the CW in 2014, it won glowing reviews from comic fans and newcomers alike. With charming performers like Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash), Jesse L. Martin (Joe West), Carlos Valdes (Cisco Ramon), and Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells) at the core of the cast and ingenious special effects delivering a super heroic punch, the Arrow spin-off quickly became the most watched show in the network’s history. But there was a hitch in The Flash’s sprint to TV greatness. Through no fault of the actresses playing its female leads, characters Iris West and Caitlin Snow have never quite matched the stride of the show itself when it’s humming on all cylinders. But the third-season premiere proves that The Flash has finally figured out how to use one of its leading ladies.

He is also the man behind the comics the series is based on, and he revealed that the series and comics will have different endings.

When Ash vs Evil Dead premiered on Starz last year, many franchise fans were very excited, but some were also quite skeptical. After all, could Sam Raimi and the rest of the AvED team recapture the spirit of the Evil Dead movies after an over 20-year hiatus? And even if they could, would Bruce Campbell be up to the task of once again donning his trademark chainsaw hand and dismembering Deadites with reckless abandon? Thankfully, the answer to that question turned out to be a resounding yes.
