With every trailer release, this film seems like it is going to blow most MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) films out of the water in quality, and this final trailer absolutely sold any tickets that have not yet been bought.
What really sells a film is its villain. There’s an old saying that says, “a hero is only as good as their villain”, and Taskmaster is looking to be quite the villain. Sporting no superpowers, somewhat, Taskmaster has the ability to copy the physical abilities of others and memorize their attack patterns. This makes him a high level threat against heroes such as Iron-Man, Daredevil, Captain America, and now Black Widow.
In the trailer, you can even see Taskmaster perform moves that are attributed to other characters, such as Captain America’s shield throw, and Black Panther’s claws and moves (picture above).
The film is really focusing on the danger of Taskmaster, relating him to Natasha’s origin by having him control the Red Room. The Red Room, for those who don’t know, was introduced in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and was where Natasha got all the skills to become such a deadly assassin. This fact gave some insight into Natasha’s past, which will definitely be revealed more when the film finally is released.
