Avengers’ Robert Downey Jr. Reveals What Other Marvel Hero He Would’ve Enjoy Playing

The man upon who the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe was built, Robert Downey Jr., revealed in a recent BBC Radio 1 interview, with children, which superhero he would’ve also liked to play.

The children doing the interviewing were asking sweet questions such as “What was the best birthday party you ever had?” But one question stuck out more than most, and that question came from a 10 year old named William. William asked if RDJ wasn’t Iron-Man which superhero would he like to be?

Now, it is hard to think of RDJ as any other superhero than Iron-Man. He’s played the character for so long that they have become one and the same to the point where the comic book version of Iron-Man actually started taking on the mannerisms of the MCU’s Iron-Man.

Yet, RDJ was able to bring a quick and easy answer to the table.
He stated, “I can’t think of any red-blooded American boy that didn’t imagine themselves as Spider-Man growing up.” But that’s not where the answer ends, “However, looking back on it now —- also because I’m just such a Jeremy Renner fan, and he made it so cool, particularly when he turns into Ronin [in Avengers: Endgame] —- I would say Hawkeye would be my go-to.
