“Game of Thrones” Season 8 Episode 4 Review

Yet another amazing episode for the legendary series of “Game of Thrones”, this episode seemed to lack some excitement off the hype of the last episode, or even the one before that. Although not a bad episode, this episode is better than the first of this season but doesn’t hold up to the last two episodes. It’s also interesting to note that we still see relationships and characters grow within the last couple episodes of the series.

“Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” Review

A Netflix film on Ted Bundy featuring Zac Efron as one of the most famous serial killers of all time, what could go wrong? A couple things. “Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile” was film filled with faults. Although not the worst it could be, the film left a lot to be desired.

“Avengers: Endgame” Is #2

With only two weekends since its initial release on April 26th, Marvel‘s “Avengers: Endgame” is breaking records and approaching the trophy as the highest grossing movie of all time. Crossing the $2 billion threshold, that makes “Avengers: Endgame” one of only five other films to ever make $2 billion in ticket sales. And that is only after 2 weeks!

Marvel’s Phase 4 Villain???

With “Spiderman: Far From Home” set to end the Marvel Cinematic Universe‘s phase 3, people are wondering who the next Thanos style big baddie will be. Now that some of the films for this next phase are in development, it even stresses the fact that the next baddie will have to be a good one to rival what Thanos has done to change the landscape of the MCU in just two years.

After Fan Outcry, Sonic Will Be “Fixed” #gottafixfast

After the release of the three minute “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie, fans freaked out do to the horrible cgi version of the titular hero. With such backlash from the fan base, VFX artist Jeff Fowler pledged in a tweet that everyone at Paramount and Sega will be working to fix this monstrosity.

The Problem With Nostalgia

The most common marketing tool, your fond memories are being sold back to you in shinier new forms that are in no way close to the original. Companies are praying off your childhood and you pay them money for it, whether it’s is good or not, just look at the “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie. A common tactic deployed by marketing agencies and businesses that provide entertainment, is nostalgia. Selling you something you already know is something that companies have been doing for ages, now this doesn’t sound to bad right? Wrong. It is the worst thing for the entertainment market, which is a very broad market.

“Crawl” The New Jaws?

The newest film to add to the iconic director, Sam Raimi‘s, repertoire. “Crawl” is the mixture between “Jaws” and “The Titanic“, minus all the lovey-dovey stuff. The new film, by Paramount Pictures, looks to be a thrill-fest that preys upon the fears of those who have been trapped in a natural disaster before, with the addition of monstrous creature aka Alligators.
