Quick sidenote: working for lawyers as I do, I gleefully enjoyed the Ziegevolk lawyer being so glib and (considering his toad sweat) literally rather slimy.  Is a stereotype a stereotype if it’s true?  I simply nodded and pointed at the TV, muttering, “That looks familiar.”

Synopsis: BENNY CALLS DEAN FOR HELP — After Benny gets brutally beat up by some vampires, he calls Dean for help. Dean abruptly packs up and tells a confused Sam that he’s taking a “personal day.” Benny confesses that he’s going after his Maker (guest star Patrick Stafford) so Dean offers to help, flashing back on the many times Benny helped him and Castiel in Purgatory. Meanwhile, Sam uses his solo time to reflect on the life he left behind with Amelia (guest star Liane Balaban). However, when things go bad for Dean and Benny, Dean calls Sam for help, which makes everything very complicated. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

The CW debuted a new show to its lineup last week titled The Secret Circle. True to The CW’s fashion of shows like Supernatural and Vampire Diaries which deal with the paranormal, legends, and myths: SC deals with witchcraft. Six witches to be exact (both males and females), whose stories and backgrounds will be revealed as the season progresses. Now on to the review, stop here is you don’t want to be spoiled.

TV Rots Your Brains: Friday Viewing Schedule

We are finally on the last day of tv shows. And Friday is the busiest of all. No chance of recovering from the brain rot anytime soon. Thankfully we will have Saturdays to rest up for the TV viewing week ahead.

Our week ends with a plate full of other worldly goodness. No really, we mean it. We’ve got ghosts, fairy tales, parallel universes, angels gone crazy, and so much more to finish off the week.
