Synopsis: In the Fall of 1940, the entire population of Friar, NH abandoned their homes and walked up an ancient trail, never to be seen alive again. Their fates have remained a mystery for over 70 years, until a team of researchers discover the trailhead and attempt to track the path the doomed citizens of Friar took.
ABOUT THE FILM: Shot digitally on location in the remote, isolated region of Northern New Hampshire in June of 2009, YELLOWBRICKROAD tells the story of this expedition; a trek into the uncharted wilderness filled with adventure, peril, shifting loyalties, and perhaps even paranormal activity.
Working with an extremely limited budget, the filmmakers immersed cast and crew in authentic locations and environments instead of relying on sets or visual effects. The New Hampshire location was so remote, cell phone reception and sometimes even electricity were not available at all times. Military grade ATVs, featured throughout the film, were also used to transport crew and equipment to the difficult filming locations.
The movie theater featured in the film was actually built in 1930 and has its own legends of ghosts and suspicious events. To further add to the realism, the film was shot sequentially, mirroring the increasingly difficult physical and emotional journey of the filmʼs characters.
Starring Cassidy Freeman (SMALLVILLE), Anessa Ramsey (THE SIGNAL), and Lee Wilkof (BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOUʼRE DEAD), YELLOWBRICKROAD is return to the slow burn, character driven horror thrillers of the 1970s.

This year he is back with a pre-quel to his feature film “Beg“ titled Beg: First Kill.Continue reading →
