QUESTIONS…LEAD TO MORE QUESTIONS…
Sadly, due to the demographics, some of missed the Superbowl ad for Stranger Things Season 2 sneak peak. Well wait no longer...Netflix has just released some stills for the upcoming season and they don’t disappoint.
Well, it’s a new week and Netflix is releasing more images from the second season of their ’80s inspired horror hit. Two of the images provided to Variety, in particular seem to focus on Will and what looks to be him attempting to adjust in the aftermath of his experience in the Upside Down. The other photos also reveal the return of Hopper, Nancy and Johnathan staring at something most horrifying, and the kids trick-or-treating. In the picture of Joyce Byers gripping Will, we land a look at newcomer to the series Sadie Sink as ‘Max’, who as Variety reports, “has a complex and suspicious past.”
Per an interview with EW, Stranger Things creators Ross and Matt Duffer told the website they envision their once underdog series, now Netflix smash having at least 4-5 seasons, as long as fans are still interested as the Duffer brothers don’t want to “wear out the show’s welcome” either.
“Everything changes as we move forward so we’ll see. Hopefully you’ll come to the end of season 2 and feel fully satisfied and want more but you’ll feel like it has come to a conclusion. But also we’ve laid the ground work for further seasons.”- Ross Duffer.
“I want it to have a really finite ending. I don’t want it to be one of those shows that runs out of gas and they lose it because they’re losing interest. You wanna end when you’re on top.” -Matt Duffer
Stranger Things season 2 premieres on Netflix, October 31st.
