PROVIDENCE, RI, November 4, 2016: Attendees worldwide are familiar with the basics to the typical comic con: celebrity guests and artists, vendors, autographs, and Q&A sessions. Rhode Island Comic Con, since its inception, has strived to provide events and sights that are unique and exciting to the entire family. This year is no exception.
At Rhode Island Comic Con 2016, popular events such as Kids Con, Sci-Fi Speed Dating, and Getting Married at RICC will all continue. Adding to the agenda are amazing sights such as the Hellevator Experience, courtesy of Cox Communications and the Game Show Network. Gaming enthusiasts will enjoy tournaments of Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter, coordinated by Retro Games Plus.
Fans will also have the opportunity to view decades-old Wonder Woman memorabilia courtesy of the Marston Family’s Wonder Woman Museum. For the tattooing enthusiasts, the show floor will feature the Ink-Fusion Tattooing Pavilion, where fans can win a chance for a free tattoo designed by Stan Lee.
And lastly, building on the Rhode Warrior brand previously announced with the release of The Rhode Warrior #1 comic book, in partnership with Bucket Brewery, the Rhode Warrior Pail Ale will be sold at all concession stands and at the after parties on Friday and Saturday evenings.
