The CW announced yesterday that Supernatural will be indeed be back for an 11th season. After sitting through the last 2 pain staking season, one can not help but wonder WHY???

Let’s be realistic that Supernatural has gone so far off the rails of the once great show it was that even the family business seems to have gone bankrupt.

Where once Sam and Dean Winchester hunted Wendigos, Killer Clowns, Vampires, and Phantom Travellers, the last few Seasons it has been Zeus, Dean turning into a dog, the introduction of Henry Winchester from the past, Henry Winchester again, Wizard of OZ (whoever smoked that one up should have shared, so the rest of us would’ve understood the episode), and let’s not forget even if you wanted too…Abaddon, making the long forgotten episode “RT. 666” one of the better storylines.

I, personally have longed for just 1 storyline to go from start to finish and not be left up in the air or just squashed out entirely (much like the characters that are introduced, loved, and killed off). Really, Dean turns all “Deanmon” and you run with that storyline for what…3 episodes. Enough said.

I stuck with the show even after the horrific death of Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver), and what I have seen of this season, I have to say does not have me running to my DVR with anticipation.

Face it, Supernatural needs some new blood behind the scenes if it is truly going to a season 11 and lastly…”What the hell ever happened to John Winchesters sacred journal”?
